Chris Guest

Chair

Chris has lived in Rossett for over 40 years. He was a Community Councillor in Rossett, where he served as Vice Chair of the Council and Chair of the Finance Sub-Committee. He has been involved with the Hwb Project since its inception in 2018. Chris is a retired senior manager within local government. With a professional IT background he has led major change programmes within large organisations. He has worked nationally with the UK and Welsh Government on major IT and organisational change projects.

Wendy Pace

Company Secretary

Wendy is a HR specialist CIPD professionally qualified, who worked for North Wales Police for 15 years with responsibility for overseeing a divisional budget of £26 million along with the HR and Administrative functions. Wendy currently undertakes several part-time roles for Wrexham County Borough Council. Wendy was a member of Rossett Community Council and served as Chair of the Council after which she was Clerk up until last year. She is currently Chair of Finance, Staff and Premises committee for the Governing Body at St Peter’s School, Rossett after acting as Chair for the PTA for several years.

Helen Maurice-Jones

Helen was a partner in a local wholesale nursery business for 35 years. Until recently she was an officer and Trustee of the Youth Hostels Association a National charity with a c£50 million turnover, and is still involved nationally with their Volunteering and Fundraising. She is a member of Rossett Community Council. Helen has considerable experience in organising and working with volunteers including the community café facility in Rossett. She is also involved in organising the annual community picnic in the park and the annual Rossett Village Festival.

Peter Morris

Peter is a retired Civil Engineer who has worked in both public and private sectors delivering numerous projects in North Wales, Northwest England and the Midlands. He has worked as a designer and as a site-based Contracts Manager. He has also had extensive experience in construction Health and Safety, previously being a Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (C.M.I.O.S.H.). Peter has been a councillor on Rossett Community Council for several years. He also volunteers with organisations who carry out environmental and ecological management projects in North Wales.

Kirit Champaneria

Kirit is a retired qualified lawyer with over 35 years of legal experience mainly specialising in family law. He and his wife (Panna) moved to Rossett in 1996 and have brought up two children in the village. His family are passionate about the project having seen his children thrive and grow in Rossett. Panna can be often found volunteering at the community cafe.
